Montgomery Playhouse in partnership with Theater Arts on the Green presents Boston Blackie. Return to the glory days of radio where your imagination set the stage and plays were performed with script in hand before a live studio audience. Presentations include “The Fur Trade” and “The TV Poisoning,” two short mysteries featuring Boston Blackie, a former jewel thief and safecracker turned good guy. Boston Blackie spawned 14 feature films between 1941 and 1949 and a radio series that ran from 1945 to 1950, with more than 300 broadcast dates.
