Do you love being on stage but don’t always have the time to be part of a long run? Have you got an assortment of voices waiting to fit just the right character?

You are invited to audition for the Montgomery Playhouse production of 2 radio plays from the Boston Blackie series of the 1940s.

Auditions are April 10 at 7:30 pm in the Carriage House, which is right next door to the Arts Barn, the production venue. Auditions will be readings from the scripts.

Performance date is Thursday, April 27 with two shows at 1 pm and 8 pm. Rehearsals are in the evening on Fri April 21st and Mon April 24th.

Indulge yourself. Take a day off from your ordinary schedule and join us for a terrific day of interaction with the audience, stress-free performing, and maybe just a chance to be a little silly. You don’t have to look like the character, just sound like him/her.

We have opportunities for actors of all ages and types. Boston Blackie is presented as a live radio production with scripts in hand.
