Sherlock Holmes & the Christmas Goose

Production Dates: Dec. 5th thru Dec. 21st

Characters:
Sherlock Holmes: tall and lean, in his 30’s or 40’s
Doctor Watson: heavier than Holmes, a bit older
Mrs. Hudson: middle aged, full of energy
        May also play Man In Street
Officer Peterson: a policeman, thickly built, in his thirties
The Countess: severe but handsome, in her sixties
        May also play Charwoman 2
Robins: rat faced, thin, in his thirties
        May also play Begger (Freddie The Fleece)
Lord Calvin: in his thirties or forties, austere
Woman/Main/Women Of The Night: twenties, versatile, comic skills

Auditions will be cold readings from the script

About the Play
Christmas eve, 1892. A woman who has just bought her Christmas goose is accosted in the street and her goose is stolen by an unknown assailant. Thus begins the events that will involve master detective Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson in a mystery that involves animal mutilations, a stolen “cursed” diamond, the freeing of an innocent man, and the search for a man that embodies the spirit of Christmas.
