Montgomery Playhouse in partnership with Arts on the Green at the Arts Barn in Gaithersburg is holding auditions for Postmortem by Ken Ludwig.
Auditions are Friday, August 26, Monday August 29, with callbacks August 30, 2016 at 7:30pm.
Performances are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays November 4 – 20.
Auditions will be held at the Carriage House, which is right next door to the Arts Barn. Roles are available for 4 women and 3 men. There will be readings from the script.
Play synopsis
In this mystery/thriller, it is April 1922 and the cast of William Gillette’s latest Broadway revival of “Sherlock Holmes” has assembled for a weekend of relaxation at his magnificent medieval castle on a bluff overlooking the Connecticut River. For entertainment, Gillette arranges for a séance. Someone is trying to murder Gillette and he suspects it is one of his guests. Intrepid, eccentric and wildly romantic, Gillette plans to solve the case himself à la Sherlock Holmes.
