As a couple prepares for a life of retirement in Miami, the wife begins to have second thoughts.
A Betrothal by Lanford Wilson
Two unsuccessful flower show exhibitors come to realize that if they combine forces, they can develop a new strain that would dazzle even the most obtuse judge.
Patient A by Lee Blessing
Highlighting the Kimberly Bergalis AIDS case and the media and political circus surrounding it.

Book of Days

Take all thirty-seven plays written by William Shakespeare, fold in his one hundred and fifty-four sonnets, mix together with three talented actors and cook in an intimate venue for just under two hours, and you have a recipe for a great evening's entertainment. Come join us for this wildly entertaining evening of Shakespeare, minus Sir Laurence Olivier.

An Evening with Shaw

December 3rd, 4th, 10th, and 11th, 2005 at 7:30pm

Spend an Evening with George Bernard Shaw with the Montgomery Playhouse production of two one act plays. The first is an adaptation of Jerome Kilty's Dear Liar. This is a play that is based on the correspondence between Mr. Shaw and Mrs. Patrick Campbell, the woman with which he had a forty year relationship and who originated the role of Eliza Doolittle in his Pygmalion. The second play is one of his one act plays, Overruled, which was first performed in 1912 and which was so well received in this summer's One Act Festival.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

In this hilarious Christmas tale, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids-- probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem-- and the fun-- when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!

Moon Over Buffalo

This backstage farce by the author of Lend Me a Tenor, is stuffed with comic invention. An acting couple are on tour in Buffalo with a repertory consisting of Cyrano de Bergerac and Private Lives. Fate gives them one more chance at the movies in the form of Frank Capra, en route to catch the matinee. Come and enjoy the nonsense and hilarity.

The Glass Menagerie

Match wits with the queen of crime! A beautiful heiress is murdered while on her honeymoon cruise on the Nile. The passengers on board discover they have more in common than they thought, as everyone has a motive! All the mix of eccentric characters, and the wonderful twists and turns we expect from Christie.

The Rivals

This brilliant comic masterpiece satirizes the pretentiousness and sentimentality of high society. An immensely popular comedy of manners, The Rivals features memorable characters including the lovely Lydia Languish, her suitor, Capt. Jack Absolute, and Lydia's aunt, the infamous Mrs. Malaprop. This show cleverly revolves around false identities, romantic entanglements, and parental disapproval and is sure to entertain and delight audiences of all ages.
