About the Quilt:
This quilt was made by Lauren Kingsland, a professional quilter who runs the quilting studio at the Arts Barn. It is of the highest quality and you could expect to have to pay $700-$800 if you were to commission her to create a similar quilt. The quilt measures 5 feet by 5 1/2 feet and has a rod sleeve at the top for display. The art work seen is the official MP art and were tee shirts from the shows in their previous life. The reverse side of the quilt is just as
attractive showing a bookcase loaded with books and other nick nacks.
The shows that are represented on the quilt were performed between
2001 through 2010 and include The Sound of Music, Godspell, Gypsy, Barefoot in the Park, The Boys Next Door, to mention but a few. |
