Montgomery Playhouse will hold a staged reading series – Montgomery Playhouse Spotlight – in 2015. The Spotlight series consists of 3 plays with rehearsals on Friday and Saturday night (7:30 pm to 10:00 pm) and performance on Sunday evening (curtain at 7:30 pm). Each performance will be followed by a short talkback with the audience.

The Cave Dwellers by William Saroyan performance April 19, 2015

The Reluctant Dragon a comedy for young audiences performance June 14, 2015

MP is seeking directors for The Cave Dwellers and The Reluctant Dragon. Auditions were held in February and all parts are cast. Staging will be limited with no scenery or special lighting. Interested directors are invited to submit their resumes to Loretto McNally at lorettoam@aol.com

The Montgomery Playhouse is the oldest continuously performing community theater in the Washington Metro.

Productions take place in the 99-seat theatre at the Arts Barn in Gaithersburg, MD.
