| The CHORUS OF THEBAN ELDERS |

| TEIRESIAS |

Director’s Note: The production will use many institutions of Classical Greek Drama including masks, single location setting and real time action. Performers begin the play using masks and stylized gestures but as the characters reach their breaking points, masks will be discarded and the actors will begin acting in a more naturalistic style. The goal is to bring the Classical Greek Drama to a modern audience without abandoning its essential character.
