Do you love being on stage but don’t always have the time to be part of a long run? Have you got an assortment of voices waiting to fit just the right character?
You are invited to audition for the Montgomery Playhouse reading series staged reading of “An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe” adapted by Robert Mason to be performed at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn – 311 Kent Square Rd. Gaithersburg
Auditions are October 5, 2016, at 7:30 pm
361 Main Street – Kentlands – Gaithersburg(The offices of Old Line Properties)
Auditions will consist of readings from the script.
There will be two performances on October 20, 2016, at 1:30 pm and 8:00 pm
Please note that this includes a Thursday afternoon performance
This will be a staged reading so there is no need to memorize the script.
There will be no more than three evening rehearsals.
Indulge yourself. Take a day off from your ordinary schedule and join us for a terrific day of interaction with the audience, stress-free performing, and maybe just a chance to be a little silly.
We have opportunities for actors of all ages and types.
All role are unpaid. Montgomery Playhouse is a non-profit community theater and all actors and staff are volunteers.
